We always try to make DocumentScanning the best available scanning tool for Lotus Notes. If there is a missing feature or we encounter bugs, we try to improve and correct DocSLN as soon as possible. Here you can see a list of changes for the different versions.

Version 2.25

news:

Version 2.10

Version 1.6

new features:

• now you can set the size and position of the image to scan. The config database supports some standard sizes. The querysave event of the config document sets top, left, right and bottom variables for the scan area

• to simplify the first start configuration, the needed testkey can be fetched from our webserver directly without waiting for an email with it

• an alternative way to use DocSLN in a client-server environment has been implemented. Now it is possible to store the Notes password encrypted in the registry. There is no need to use the password server although that is the more secure way.

bugfixes:

• rewitten twain handler now supports some more non twain standard compliant scanners

Version 1.5

new features:

• Now there is no need to do a first start configuration anymore. DocSLN ist ready to run on delivery. All needed informations are collected when the first scanning procedure is initiated. And the flexibility of the configuration is maintained
• "on this Database" Document guides you through the first start
• adapted the sample database for the new features

• In addition to all other image formats for the scans, DocSLN can create the Portable Network Graphics (PNG) format now

bugfixes:

• minor changes to the handling of image aquisition from the twain driver

• .jpg extension was not included in the end of given filename so all further attached jpgs had the same name

• DocSLN now supports not only Notes attachements but even Notes OLE embedding. But be careful with this feature, the embedded preview of the Image is always in BMP-format so it will take much storage space

• minor changes to german config template due to wrong association of view in assignment form
